So we know that a Colorado Springs vacation means you'll be in a beautiful, active city with an endless amount of things to do. You've got Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains on your horizon. Garden of the Gods on the edge of town. Restaurants and shops too. Best of all, the sunshine is abundant. The air is pure. You are always surrounded by natural beauty. We loved it so much, we moved here...  And while it's a great place to live, it's also a perfect destination for a romantic getaway, family vacation, or weekend escape. From all our travels (and now that we're residents) we've developed a list of "favorites" which we'll be writing about in this website...
If you're looking to see Colorado, "the Springs" is the perfect start. It's located smack-dab in the center of the state, making day trips a piece of cake. And, because Colorado Springs is nestled right up against the Front Range mountains, you don't need to drive an hour to get into the Rockies--they're right on the edge of town. If you prefer staying inside, there are also plenty of places to go shopping, like Old Colorado City, and Downtown. As well as museums, restaurants and coffee shops.
