Cabins in Colorado Springs
Cabins in Colorado Springs offer lodging with an "outdoorsy" feel while you’re visiting the Pikes Peak area. A cabin rental can give you the rustic experience to match the Rocky Mountain landscape. It just fits: mountains, streams, pine trees… gotta have a cabin. Whether it’s an old-school all-log cabin that sleeps your whole family reunion, or just a little house that has a backwoods cabin feel, finding the right one could make your visit to Colorado an unforgettable one. The best thing about Colorado Springs cabins is that many of them have mountain views, or a creekside location. And while some are bunched together and rented out in standard tourism style, many are privately owned with private grounds, and their owners are happy to rent them out.
Our personal favorite near Colorado Springs is Mariposa Cabin. It’s actually located about 10 minutes west of the Springs, in a little town called Green Mountain Falls up in the foothills. It’s cozy, rustic, and has beautiful views. Hummingbirds visit the deck. Deer love the foliage at the edge of the yard. And you can always hear the waterfall just up the road. Now that’s a cabin experience. Due to the huge amount of cabin rentals available in the area, we recommend a great website to sort them all out. It’s called VRBO.com, which stands for “Vacation Rentals By Owner.” Whether you’re looking for a massive luxury estate on 100 acres of land with a private pond, or just a hollowed-out log cabin near the mountains, you will likely find it on VRBO.
If you know of a fantastic cabin rental in Colorado Springs that you’d like to recommend, we’d love to hear from you.
