Jet Charters Take You Farther

Air Charter Travel to Colorado

By Logan B, jetcharters.com

If you’re planning on taking a trip any time soon, you might be wondering what mode of transportation you should take.

If you’re considering flying, let me propose an alternative to the sluggish, oft-delayed commercial flights.

Air charters, like those offered through jetcharters.com, offer a level of convenience and privacy that is unheard of in today’s travel industry.

To illustrate my point, I have an anecdote about a time when I flew out of Colorado.

Colorado Charter Jet

My family had been vacationing in Lake City, about 80 miles outside of Gunnison. We had a 45-minute layover in Denver on our way back home to Texas. When we touched down in Denver, I skipped the duty-free shops and the Starbucks and went directly to the information desk in front of our terminal.

The employee at the desk informed me that our flight had been delayed and wouldn’t be boarding until 4 p.m., almost two hours off schedule.

Less Hassle

I went for a walk around the airport, stretching my legs and getting the circulation moving. When I returned, there was a new employee standing in place of the first. I asked her if the flight was still on schedule to board at 4 p.m. She assured me that that flight had boarded half an hour ago and was currently taxiing on the runway.

Because of a miscommunication with the original employee (a problem that was not unique to our situation), we missed our flight and ended up becoming intimately familiar with each corridor of the Denver Airport over the next eight hours.

Convenience & More Play Time

This problem never would have arisen had we flown on a chartered plane. The convenience of having a jet waiting on you, guaranteed not to leave the ground without you on board, is one of the greatest selling points for flying on a chartered jet.

That means that if you get caught up enjoying your time at one of Colorado Springs’ many parks or fine-dining restaurants, you won’t have to worry about a 45-minute layover turning into an 8-hour layover.

Privacy & Better Health

Many travelers who book jet charters for their families and friends enjoy the privacy it affords as well. It is wise to consider the risks of staying in an enclosed space, like a plane cabin, for an extended period of time with strangers who may or may not have the flu.

These worries are especially valid in the winter, when it seems like everyone is battling a sneezing, coughing or wheezing. No one wants their vacation ruined by a bunch of runny noses.

Great Service

If you’re considering a jet charter for your trip to Colorado Springs, it will be a wise choice. The convenience and privacy of a chartered jet, paired with the wide array of services offered by companies like Jet Charters, will allow you to take your mind off the travel details and enjoy your vacation.

Editor's Note:

Thanks, Logan, for your guest post about the option of air charter travel, a great way to get to and from Colorado Springs. If you readers out there are able to afford this option, we say go for it! The more time in the mountains the better. (And, really, I don't think I'd mind air travel at all if it were the plane in that photo.) Happy Trails!
