Colorado Springs Brew Pubs
From lagers and ales to seasonal and specialty, these suds are brewed right within the pubs themselves, making for the freshest imbibement experience you can ask for.
The Springs is lucky to have a huge selection of microbreweries, which are located all over the city--from downtown to the far north side.
Complete with friendly staff who definitely make it their business to know their brews. So take a look, pick your favorite, and bottoms up!
Phantom Canyon Brewing Company
Located in the Historic Cheyenne Building at Pikes Peak & Cascade, PCBC is about as downtown as it gets. The first floor has plenty of ambiance with its tall ceilings and hardwood floors, but the second floor's billiard hall is where you'll probably end up, with its 13 pool tables, foosball, dart boards, jukebox, and big-screen TVs. Favorite beers include Zebulon's Peated Porter and the Hefeweizen. Sampler flights for $10. Check out their creative food menu. One of the best known of the Colorado Springs brew pubs.

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse
This is a chain restaurant and brewhouse with a very large menu and several beers on tap. If your belly wants burgers, pasta, deep dish pizza, meatloaf, or stuffed potatoes, this is your lunch & dinner spot. Seventeen beers to choose from.

Rocky Mountain Brewery
If you are looking for excellent hand-crafted German beer, this is the place. Not technically one of the Colorado Springs brew pubs, it's close enough to count. Bierwerks is in "the city above the clouds," Woodland Park, only 15 minutes west. Friendly, helpful staff in traditional dress serve up lagers and ales galore. The outdoor atmosphere is a bit loud due to its close proximity to the main road, but that doesn't seem to bother their many customers who choose to sit outside.
The big draw to Bierwerks is the beer. The beer. The beer. The bier!

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE...
Also consider these popular Colorado Springs pubs. They don't brew their own beer, but they have plenty of it on hand! As well as great atmosphere and local flavor.
Jack Quinn Irish Ale House & Pub Friendly, authentic, old world pub ambiance. One of the most popular Irish Pubs in town, Jack Quinn's is also famous for their Jack Quinn's Running Club, which hosts a weekly 5k downtown on Tuesday nights, complete with discount beers for runners. Offers a full menu of Irish food, and an extensive choice of microbrews, European brews, and bottled beers. Frequent live music might come in the form of Irish pub songs, U2 tribute bands, or karaoke.
The Golden Bee Another pub that can't be missed. Located at The Broadmoor (so on the pricey side). Authentic British pub atmosphere literally imported from the UK wins over patrons as well as their fish & chips and the piano player/singer who keeps the songs going and spirits high. Also--ale served in yards! Scotch on the menu. Get there before 7:30pm as the Bee fills up quick.
