RV Rental - Colorado

Travel the Rockies in Your Personal Motorcoach

An RV rental is a great way to see Colorado. Much more affordable than trying to own one, renting an RV is a nice option that can give you the luxury of your own “home on the highway” without emptying your pocketbook.

Some of the benefits of RV travel as a way to see the Rocky Mountains:

*A different view every night out your living room window.

*Total mobility--get up and go whenever you want.

*Your own kitchen—snacks on the go.

*Your own bathroom facilities—no waiting.

*A place for everything—all your stuff where you want it.

*A warm, dry, safe place to sleep at night--no matter the weather.

RV Rental Colorado - Motorhome
My sister’s family rented an RV for a trip through the mountains and they absolutely loved it. The huge windshield let them enjoy the outdoors even while they drove to their next destination.

One of our family members has a special diet, and their mobile kitchen made it easy to prepare and store food on-the-go. Also, with a four-year-old on board, they didn’t have to stop every hour for a bathroom break. They just kept on rolling...

More than once, they drove by an especially scenic area, parked their RV, and just enjoyed it for a few hours without worrying about anything. They had all their comforts with them.

An extra bonus they didn’t expect was the RV rental culture at the campgrounds. Lots of friendly folks trading travel stories, and other kids for my neice to play with. And a campfire is extra nice when you know you have a warm home to sleep in as the night gets colder.

Gas, of course, can be a concern, as the average Recreational Vehicle only gets 10-15 miles per gallon. But the trade-off is that you won’t have any lodging expenses, and your food budget should be much lower if you’re making your own food. RV Rental Colorado: Mountain View

Most rental companies will provide you with training on RV travel, as far as what to expect, what to avoid, how to drive, and how all the buzzers and gadgets work inside and out.

They’ll want you to be totally comfortable before you drive such a large vehicle. And they want you to have fun!

Note: make sure you know your options for insurance through your own coverage and the rental company.

For a fun primer on how to enjoy your RV vacation, check out the Robin Williams movie “RV.” My sister’s family watched it before they went on their trip, and they found it very funny and entertaining.
