Haven’t we often heard that life is short? This is why we must seize the opportunity to do crazy things to preserve our sanity every now and then. And, if you didn’t understand the logic in these words, then no worries because one day you will.
But, for now, if you have decided to do some traveling, then check out this list for some exciting traveling challenges.
#1. Go to the Airport and Select the Cheapest Destination of the Day
The destination has no importance, it’s all about the adventure.
Usually, when you want to go on vacation, you plan your entire trip. But, why don’t you break the monotony of planning and preparing everything?
All you need to do is to go to the airport with your packed luggage (of course, you can bring along your friends) and then choose your destination (the cheapest obviously unless you are Bill Gates).
#2. Bathe Under a Waterfall
If I get the chance to visit some of the world’s most breathtaking waterfalls, then I would definitely seize the opportunity to stand under them and take a nice bath. I mean, come on, who doesn’t want a nice and free shower from nature?
#3. Walk the Narrowest Street in the World
Just as Yonge Street is the longest street in the world, similarly as per the Guinness World Records, the world’s narrowest street is found in the Old Town of Reutlingen in Germany. Known as Spreuerhofstraße, the road is only 31 centimeters at its narrowest point and 50 centimeters at its widest point. So, if you decide to make a trip to Germany, then don’t forget to squeeze in this interesting street.
#4. Go on Vacation With Your Boyfriend/Girlfriend and Go Separate Ways To Find Each Other
Who doesn’t want to make a nice romantic trip with their beloved one?
However, instead of choosing the usual French or Italian romantic cities, travel to a new and unknown city. Then, walk away in separate ways and try to find each other by the end of the evening. Oh, and that too without using your respective phones.
It will be up to you to find your beloved and please no cheating. And, one last thing, I am not sure if this challenge applies to married people. Why? Well, because this is supposed to be a fun and romantic challenge and you know what people say happens to romance after marriage.
#5. Pretend To Be a Tourist
Here, there is no need to make a trip. Instead, you can stay in your own city and pretend to be a tourist. What you can do is to meet people and speak to them in a foreign language. To make it funnier, you can even create your own language. But remember, even if you meet your friends, do not, I repeat, do not break the game.
#6. Go Out of Range for 24 Hours
Let me ask you even if I know the answer: will you be able to live without Internet? (Yes, I know the answer is obvious)
We are constantly online, even when we are in foreign countries. However, the challenge here is to choose to visit a place where electronic devices are out of range. We put the limit for 24 hours but it’s up to you. Besides, instead of drifting away in some virtual space, you will be able to enjoy your trip to the fullest.
#7. Visiting Every Nando’s in the World
No, I am not crazy and if you are a foodie, you will definitely understand this challenge.
Besides, someone really tried this challenge. Christopher Poole, a man from London, who is a die-hard fan of the chicken restaurant chain, took up this challenge, especially when the organization promised a reward of the famous High Five Black Cards to anyone who completes this challenge. And for those who don’t understand the reason behind this craziness, let me tell you that the High Five Black Cards mean unlimited Nando’s for the winner and five friends. Can you imagine that? Unlimited and free food!
Traveling is fun but these challenges make it funnier and more exciting. If you know some more fascinating challenges, then don’t hesitate to jot down your ideas in the comment section below!
